This is a couple that leads by example.

It is a couple worth emulating by Malawian youths.

Both are eloquent speakers.

Both are achievers.

They both love their country.

They are united by these two pillars: to make Malawi economically-viable and hunger free.

These, President Bingu wa Mutharika and Calista Mutharika, are our national parents.

How lucky we are, to have such caring parents.

Parents who bite, where necessary; and soothe when deemed fit.

They react suitably to all situations.

Angry here and there; happy now and then.

They fear the rains, too.

They are natural.
