Fuel shortage hits Lilongwe hard

President Bingu wa Mutharika: His administration marred by fuel shortages
 The signs are everywhere.
At Kawale Filling Station in Lilongwe, visited just some ten minutes ago, Zachimalawi counted 780 vehicles lining up for fuel.
At the City Centre, tyhe problem is the same.
Just yesterday, Zachimalawi visited Capital Hill -the seat of government- and found one the Hummers on President Bingu wa Mutharika's convoy waiting for fuel that was not there at Total Filling Station (located within the premises).
Surely, Mutharika's main challenge has been to get the engines going uninterrupted.
Success achieved in food production and economic growth is being diluted in fuel shortages.
