President Peter Mutharika Finds Love At Last

The State House is pleased to inform all Malawians about the traditional wedding of His Excellency State President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to his long time best friend and confidant Madam Gertrude Hendrina Maseko.



A private ceremony to bless the wedding will take place on Saturday 21st June, 2014 at St Michaels and All Angels CCAP Church in Blantyre. Thereafter a family reception will be held in the village, at the Mutharika family home at Ndata farm in Thyolo district.



H.E Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika comes from Kamoto Village, Traditional Authority Chimaliro in Thyolo district while Madam Gertrude Hendrina Maseko hails from Kapasule Village, Traditional Authority Msamala in Balaka district.


Former Malawi Police Service Inspector General, Peter Mukhito, is the Organising Committee Chairperson.
