Yesterday I took some time off and visited COMESA Hall in Blantyre, when Great politician and media guru Aleke Kadonaphani Banda lay in state.
It was so sad, seeing Aleke the great lying there. Motionless.
Here is a man who did so much for his country. And now, he lies there, out of Malawi.
Oh, Aleke.
You are the man.
Today, as Chirimba waits to take you as its own, In Chirimba where whenceforth you shall lie, please remember that we know how great you are.
In us, our minds and hearts, you live.
There is so much space for you there. AKB.
